Arrived to provide an estimate for installing iron stair rails in a very small area. Requested 50% deposit to purchase materials which was paid but never showed up.
Found there were also other victims.
Although his invoice says San Clemente, he is actually from Santa Ana but used to live in San Clemente.

I had the same sitiuation as original author. In my case I gave him a lot more than 1k deposit and never came to start the job. He took the deposit, acted like he was going to come, would respond to messages, but at the end he ghosted me.
