After speaking to a sales agent about doing a resume I was told to submit information about myself and provide payment to move the process forward. I did what was requested. I then called back to speak to the agent I had worked with all along, Sumner. First ERS (Electronic Resume Services) lied, and said he was out. Because I wanted to keep the conversation short and not have to re explain everything I insisted on speaking with him. He then got on the telephone, he was never really gone. He said that he had taken my business "out of the goodness in his heart".
Sumner then
asked would you like a refund or will you speak to customer service? I then
said that I did need to speak to him, but if that was his attitude I would take
the refund. Sumner then said "do not call here" Sumner then said "I
need to contact the police." I respond "please do" so as I would then
have a police report for ERS overcharging my credit card and refusing to honor
its own agreement.
Had the sales rep just been professional and said I'll pass on the information none of this would have happened. Their guarantee is riddled with loop wholes such as if you don't respond to them in 3 days for whatever reason they keep all of your money. There is a small window of time to get any refund what so ever. Truth is many people have tried to get a refund after not geting a job after 4 months and they got nothing and wasted 4 months!

"Why put a marketing link in your response? Something about just isn't honest at all!"
One would then wonder why there is a marketing link in YOUR response. Hmmm. Very suspicious! :-))))

First off, I don't know what "marketing link" you are talking about. I did not put a marketing link in my reply, I certainly don't see one when I look at my comments, and marketing links would not even be allowed by the website's owner. As far as "who" I am, I am a person living in a city that is none of your concern and I have been reading and responding to postings here at ripoffreport for about 6 years now.
Jim, don't you worry about who I am or where I'm at.

Giselle:
Any city USA just where exactly is that? How come you put in a link to some employment marketing in your rebutal to me? Who does insist on speaking to who they
originally spent all their time with, I do and so do most of the people I know. I don't know of any reputable company that says you can never speak to so and so again. I wouldn't have wasted all my time with him in the beginning if I knew that was going to happen. So the answer to your question is pretty obvious. Not many people like to repeat themselves and fill out forms for all that they have done only to call in and talk to someone who doesn't know anything about you just to start the process all over again. Do you enjoy repeating the same task over again to someone your paying money to Giselle? I doubt you are who you say you are just to many weird things in your response to be credible. Why put a marketing link in your response? Something about just isn't honest at all!

This complaint is...strange, in my opinion. The letter writer was told "Sumner" was not available, yet he continued to insist that he speak with him. Who does that? The situation escalates with the letter writer being "fired" as a customer and the company having to threaten to involve the police. I would love to hear the other side of the story. Obviously, there's a lot missing from this posting.
