I was told by service advisor William Linderm that my car needed a shifter cable and that it would cost $816.00. I took my car to Hyundai of Westley Chapel and was told that my car only needed a C-clip. They gave me the clip and wouldn't let me pay them for it.

If you look at their website, they tell the whole world they add FAKE FEES to the sale of a car. No matter if it's called a "certification fee", "dealer fee" or " electronic filing fee", it's all 100% a bogus, add-on, phoney fee!!! When they add PHONEY FEES, they are telling you beyond the shadow of any doubt, honesty and integrity are NOT practiced there. As you have experienced, the FRAUD and DECEPTION which has been extant on the sales floor and finance office has now flown into the shop like raw sewage on a downhill street. This is the nature of the Sleazy American Car Business. If you have non-warranty work needed, find and patronize a good independent shop as many do because of price gouging and out right FRAUD and DECEPTION in far too many dealership shops and at an independent shop, you will find REAL mechanics instead of COMMISSIONED PARTS CHANGERS, fake mechanics who's job it is to lie to you to get a commission.
