Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been insured by Insurance Discounters since I was 16. I am now 40 and have had personal and business insurance coverage with this firm for years. Melissa has always been very overwhelmed working here practically alone and even crying at times saying she couldn't leave because the owner is in severe tax trouble and she promised him she would help bail him out. It takes us forever just to get a COI from do to the fact that she is so overwhelmed causing us to lose commercial jobs. We had a company vechicle totalled as of late and had had us UNDERINSURED! When we confronted her about it she said we gave her the amount of coverage. Most definitely a lie. She covered it for what she saw fit and had the audacity to lie to us over the phone. We told her to please show us documentation on what she claims we said and of course she could not. We even asked her to play it back to us on their so called recorded lines and Conveniently they were not working.

Melissa costed us 13+ grand because she under insured us and will not own up to her mistake crying over the phone stating it would cost her her job. Very sad that an employer would do that to someone that has been dedicated to this firm for so long. Insurance Discounters as well as Melissa is about to be in a firestorm of business and personal law suits. Not counting the social media backlash that will accure after our demand letter goes out.

Absolutely Ridiculous!

YOU agreed to buy insurance from that agency. Who did? YOU DID! YOU were provided with all the documentation which listed EXACTLY what levels of coverage YOU AGREED to buy. Who was provided that information? YOU WERE PROVIDED THAT INFORMATION! As such, it was YOU who had the responsibility of checking to see what YOU were paying for. YOU very obviously failed to do that otherwise YOU wouldn't be coming here crying, whining and stomping your feet and PLAYING THE BLAME GAME because YOU and ONLY YOU failed to READ what YOU were agreeing to buy BEFORE you agreed to it! One more time, just another example of the dumbing down of America and the epidemic of lack of FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE. Absolutely NO RIPOFF here! Just another example of the BLAME GAME due to the complainer's LACK OF FINANCIAL COMMON SENSE!
