I too am a victum of these two professionals. First, I thought they were trustworty. She is a teacher in my Hesperia, California School District and they say he is a police officer. David assured me the truck was fine. He said it was his daughters and he fixed it up personally. So, I bought the truck and the next day it died. On the freeway! On my way to work!
I should have known there was a problem. When I test drove it, David would not let me go over 45 miles per hour. And when I returned it? He refused to pay me for registration, gas and other cosmetic repairs I did. Like a broken mirror, etc. I filled he tank with $100 worth of gas, he dinied I did that and claimed it was full when he stole my money. Then they took two weeks to return my money, plus he stubracted $200 for "his trubles."
I paid $1200 for a piece of junk. Plus $100 in a full tank of gas, $150 in cosmetics, I gots back $900. Oh, did I mention I had to pay Triple A $300 for the tow job off the freeway?
In closing, I lost $850 to these thieves. I include Jessica because she was there the whole time and never said a word. She acts all stupid with a bachelors degree in education. What a crock!
I agree with the original poster. I'm so grateful they posted about the Phillips's. Otherwise I may have never said anything for fear of the repercutions.

You fully admitted here during this test drive, he didn't want you to exceed 45mph. What did that tell you? Despite this VERY OBVIOUS clue something was not right, YOU ignored it! Now you come here to cry and whine because very clearly, YOU failed to use COMMON SENSE! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
