Kathleen Wallace Appraisal Service Subpar Appraisal Report Given Millersville Maryland
Had an appraisal done by Kathleen Wallace, and experienced the same problems other people have been reporting over the years. Ms. Wallace chosse to omit very recently sold, and more simliar comps and instead choose a house that sold a year ago as her number one comp. She also made no adjustment for time on said comp. Based on the reviews of others, it is likely that Ms. Wallace will simply deny the request for the reconsideration of value that was submitted.
I am prepared to take my case directly to the VA should this happen, howerver I would be remiss if I did not also ask the VA to carefully reconsider her as an appraiser for veteran homebuyers moving foward. This type of behavior is extremely harmful to homebuyers who count on a fair and accurate home value in order to purcase the home of their choice.
