Dear Dr. William Serrata

El Paso Community College, President.

I am writing to you as a student of El Paso Community College (EPCC), currently enrolled in a class taught by Mr. Russell Myers. Recently, I encountered technical issues during a scheduled Microsoft Excel exam, which impeded my ability to complete it. Initially, the problem was a download error for essential exam documents. Recognizing this, I reached out to Mr. Myers, who kindly rescheduled the exam for the following day.

Unfortunately, the make-up exam also had issues – specifically, the instructions were incomplete, lacking a crucial second page. I communicated this problem to Mr. Myers, requesting another reschedule. However, as of today, I discovered on the Blackboard platform that Mr. Myers has recorded a grade of zero for this exam.

I respectfully request your intervention to clarify whether Mr. Myers intends to provide another opportunity to retake the exam. This is particularly important as the exam significantly impacts the final grade for the course. Given that the obstacles I faced originated from technical issues within the school's system, I am willing to take the exam at the school's testing facilities to ensure full access to the necessary materials.

Additionally, I feel compelled to bring to your attention concerns regarding the involvement of Mr. Mauricio Solis and Mr. Francisco Paz, counselor and supervisor, respectively, at the Veteran and Readiness and Employment Office. Their actions, which I perceive as unprofessional, mirror issues I've encountered with some EPCC instructors, including Mr. Myers. I have documentation supporting these claims for your review.

Furthermore, if you have reservations about the validity of these concerns, I suggest you and I ask the VA Secretary to review of the case involving VA Drs. Jenny Jin and Rania Hito, who are directly involved in the manipulating medical records, adversely affecting my service connection claim. Despite multiple efforts to rectify this, the issue remains unresolved—and unreviewed by the VA Secretary. Understanding the reasons behind Dr. Jin's alterations to my medical records will shed light on the broader context of manipulation within the VA system, which I believe might also be influencing EPCC staff, including Mr. Myers.

Your attention to these matters is greatly appreciated, particularly in ensuring a fair resolution to the situation with my Excel exam. A prompt response from Mr. Myers regarding the possibility of rescheduling the exam would be invaluable in resolving this matter equitably.  Thank You.
