Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I made a LOAN to Nicholas C. Burkholder over 2 years ago for $2,750.00. He acknowledged this debt with his signature on a promisary note, and in several e-mails to me many times.

Every time I've asked him to repay, I've gotten excuses. After MULTIPLE requests, he continues to make up phoney excuses. I feel lied to, cheated, and scammed.

DO NOT DEAL with this company or person. He is not reputable, and has put me and my family members into consideralbe debt, and continues to ignore requests to return the money.

This is not the forum to address these issues but at least some businesses are understandably not going to the trouble of asking us for additional information, so we’ve decided to post an update. We greatly appreciate those who choose not to judge us just based on this report and we will continue to quickly respond to requests for additional information sent to Attorney@1stNotice .com.

It has been almost seven months since Patricia Celec filed this report. Initially we just wanted a copy of the note referenced in the report and for the report to be deleted, although we would have accepted a correction. And even though the report soon devastated our business and then personal lives we continued to try and resolve this matter with minimum demands. We also have given the Celec’s copies and notice of all actions before they were filed. However all these efforts have proved fruitless. At one point, for example, Pat Celec emailed that she had received “some documents that look they may have been falsified by you.” The documents were an official Court of Common Pleas notice logged by the Prothonotary. And the Celec’s have yet to respond to repeated requests for the same very simple discovery.

This is not a complicated matter. The money owed was never disputed and had Pat Celec not filed this report she would have been paid almost seven months ago and not wreaked such havoc and horror.

Patricia Celec filed this report less than 14 hours after she called me and I confirmed a written commitment that the Celec’s had accepted a month before, that she would be paid the following week. And 24 hours after filing the Ripoff Report, Pat Celec acknowledged in an email my verbal commitment. We didn’t know it then, but we would soon be reeling from the consequences of the report.

Now a complaint including defamation and tortious interference of business has been filed against Patricia Celec in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. It substantiates a judgement of $150,000 plus costs.
