This happened a while ago, about 3 years or so. I had forgotten about it, but it was recently revived by an email from them.I had an account and the hidden option to auto-renew was checked automatically. This was about $165.00 charge This platform has a huge learning curve just trying to create and manage a site and some thing like this can not be remembered by all people I never was able to release my site nor was I able to transfer the domain name they made me pay for for over a year. When I tried to close my account, it took another year. By all this waiting to access this convoluted way of managing my data and the account, lots of things got forgotten. Wading through all of the disclaimers adds a whole other dimension to a waste of time. When I got a hold of them within the 14-day grace period for the auto-renewal, they would not allow me to get my money back. This is when I found out all the other crap about not being able to close my account or transfer my domain name. Very unscrupulous business practices and there was a long and arduous learning curve for the very difficult creation platform. Make sure you uncheck the hidden "renew automatically" setting because you will not get your money back no matter what you present to them as evidence. I actually give them a zero, in this dog-eat-dog world; they are just another rabid dog feeding on the unprotected masses to increase their bottom line. There is no excuse for a company as large as them to be practicing as if they are above the fray. This happened over three years ago; however, it still does not make it right. I sure don't expect anything from them now. It took until now for me to be able to even close my account and delete my information. I really don't care if they recognize me as a customer, and there is nothing they can do to make it right.
