7 Figure Cycle – Dissapointing service and what money back guarantee?

Creators: Aidan Booth, Steve Clayton, Chris Keef, Todd Snively

 My background:

Before I continue, let me explain my background and what I’ve done on Amazon. I have several Amazon businesses, turning over in excess of £10,000 profit per month (not the best but getting there). I know the PL model very well and thought it was time to try something different because of some of the challenges I see in the future for PL. I teamed up with two people who are very good at what they do (Field sales - full time job) but haven’t explored into the Amazon marketplace yet. I’ve thought about the wholesale model, know some people who are smashing it and thought it’s worth giving ago.

The 7 figure cycle team offer a guarantee that if you don’t make any money using what they advise, they will not only provide you with a refund but they will also double your money back – In my opinion, what’s there to complain about here?

The wholesale model is not complicated but we purchased this on the basis of Profit Hunter, Buyers club and Warehouse integration.

Also, before I continue, I’m sure that the wholesale model does work and this post may cause controversy but I feel like I’ve been let down and disappointed by what I’ve bought into. Aidan, Steve, Chris & Todd all come across as genuine guys and I haven’t spoken to them directly, as every time I’ve emailed in I’ve spoken to a team member. As mentioned above, after reading the below, I do welcome a direct message from the creators of 7 figure cycle.

I had heard very mixed views on the creators Todd Snively, Aidan Booth, Steve Clayoton & Chris Keef. but I thought with a money back guarantee you are safe... obviously not

What have I done to test this training out?

Between my 2 business partners and I, we have:

  1. Contacted (this can be proven to anyone questioning us), over 400 distributors using the methods provided on the course
  2. Obtained product lists within the hundreds of thousands UPC.
  3. Deposited $500 to use their distributor lists

What did we expect from 7figure based on what we were told/webinar?

  • Double your money guarantee
  • Secret FB group access
  • State of the art, accurate spreadsheet analysis software
  • On-going, fast response
  • A free product where they do the sourcing to get us started
  • No additional costs apart from products
  • No requirement for a website
  • No requirement for paid adds
  • No waiting weeks for products to arrive
  • Use of their distributors which they have worked with
  • Use of their fulfilment centre to make it easy one stop shop
  • As an international seller, they’ll make the whole process easy for us to register as an LLC (when required)

I could not find any reviews on this training apart from people trying to affiliate market sell it.

Story:

Wednesday 7th February 2018 my business partners and I decided based on a recommendation to purchase 7 figure cycle. They offered a money back guarantee so it seemed like a safe option to do.

We had heard mixed feelings about training provided from Steve, Aidan, Chris & Todd but felt this may be a new leaf and it’s risk free (or so we thought!).

We began watching the training a week or so after but it was all pretty basic to me (being an Amazon seller). The bit which I didn’t know much about was creating an LLC. All of my previous companies have UK, LTD’s. We saw mixed thoughts about having to register for an LLC and was told it wasn’t essential. We decided to ask if they could advise an international service to register an LLC where they provided us with Delaware Inc. Credit to them, they set up the LLC in a timely manner at a responsible price.

We then went to contact distributors and found out that we required an EIN/FEIN and Sales Tax code which was not made clear, Delaware Inc., could not do this so we had to spend more money to get this.  This processed went on for over a month with complications and delays which weren’t made clear. – We obtained our EIN/FEIN and sales tax details on 12th March.

The following week in training, 7 figure cycle then advised international sellers to use a new company to form your LLC, F-EIN and Sales Tax Code at an exclusive, better rate. We were gutted as we’d spent nearly double what they had recommended. A couple of weeks later, they advised everyone that their exclusive deal company will no longer be running the offer.

We watched the training which seemed average but we were most excited about getting their new, state of the art “Profit Hunter” software access. We were advised that everyone would have access to this  by 18th Feb at the latest. This did not happen and after raising the fault, there appeared to be a problem with our account and they had to do it manually. On 20th Feb (14 days in) we received access. However, with no viable US credentials (EIN/FEIN etc) this was pretty useless as we couldn’t contact any distributors.

We kept asking one of their employees Kevin, questions but we would ask him to answer a simple question and he would answer something completely different, not actually giving us a valid answer. With having to wait 3-4 days a time for a response – this was very frustrating.  I still had hope for everything though!

We go back to the 7figure cycle team with more questions but then we just couldn’t get a straight answer. We spoke to Kevin several times, we then sent an email headed  “Hello, I’ve asked several questions a variety of times but don’t get a straight answer”.

As mentioned, on 12th March (34 days into the course) we obtained our EIN/FEIN details which meant we could start doing the job properly. Despite the time gap which we couldn’t help, we were buzzing & excited to crack on and start smashing sales.

As the emails go out we are working all hours of the days, using all of the methods provided plus a few others to try and maximise success.

7figure Cycle recommend setting up their warehouse access but we must follow their steps. We understand that they are now making more money off of us by using their warehouse/fulfilment centre but sure, if we make money we’ll use someone we trust. On 27th March we raise a concern that we aren’t sure if they have received our application for the warehouse…  Eventually on 9thApril (62 days into the training we get warehouse access). We were informed that there was a massive back log because the team had to on-board over 500 users, it was taking longer than expected.

As the training goes on we decide to ask questions within the chats, we get no replies. This was very disappointing. It seemed that 7figure Cycles customer service is poor.

As we plough through contacting our 400 distributors we start to face more challenges:

  1. What is your website? (We were told we did not need one) – We received a lot of responses that they would not work with us as we didn’t have a website
  2.  Where are you selling?  Soon as we mentioned Amazon, we were told no.
  3. We don’t sell to sellers who are registered in a non-sales tax state but are based internationally.
  4. We aren’t accepting any more ecommerce customers.
  5. You don’t have history of selling products in that sector, we won’t sell to you

My business partners and I are sales people, we deal with objection handling every day. We used the methods which were provided but could not overcome some of these challenges. We still carried on, applying different methods to try and succeed.

Despite mentioning challenges, we did start to get product lists through but we faced more challenges with this. In total we’ve received probably, minimum of 400,000 worth of products. We found flaws with “Profit Hunter” too. Some of our overall challenges were

  1. Prices were not competitive enough – Profit hunter would show us that we could make $50,000 per month on a distributor… we would then realise that each product yielded a $3 profit margin on a $30 product. After shipping and warehouse fee’s AND advertising fee’s (which has now been recommended) we would be at a loss
  2. Profit hunter would show huge profits per product – we would see item x making loads of profit, we would check the listing and realise that our UPC code was only for 1 unit, the same Amazon listing was for 4 units. By the time we multiplied our 1 unit cost by 4, we were at a loss
  3. Amazon were in the buy box
  4. Profit Hunter would malfunction
  5. Profit Hunter stats were inaccurate – I would compare the stats to Viral Launch, Jungle Scout & Amz Tracker and see a huge difference in numbers. I even ran my own PL products through them to compare and found a massive difference.

We then thought, to get the ball rolling, lets utilise our free product and the distributors which 7FigureCycle provide. We were not made aware that we were restricted to $200 per week worth of items. That being said ,we placed $500 into the account, requested the items and it took approximately 30 days for them to tell us that the items we requested were out of stock.  It took 5 weeks, 35 days, for us to receive any form of product from their distributors! We then were waiting for our free product we which were told would come very soon. This arrived this week, nearly 100 days into the cycle!

We eventually get access to their exclusive Facebook Group and straight away see negativity there, but we don’t let that affect us until, a couple of weeks in we get an email stating:

“After much deliberation and exploration of different avenues, we've been forced to shut down the 7FC Facebook group due to illegal marketing activity and illegal data scraping happening within the group which we've been unable to control.. we'll explain more during the Live Success Summit next week.

Before you panic, we've got an alternative, which we think will actually be BETTER...

In the next 10 days, we'll be opening up a NEW community that ALL members will be able to join (yes, regardless of where you're at in the system, you'll be able to participate).” – Please note that this has now been over 10 days and I still haven’t received anything. Maybe I’ve missed a trick? This just seems familiar to things I’ve seen in the past but sure, there may be a genuine reason behind it all.

As the training went on we found that they suggested paying for advertising to sell more units quicker and now to use their “link” to build a website. I have experience in advertising and building websites so this isn’t a problem but I just felt like this wasn’t part of what they initially told us.

After going through 400,000 odd products, 400 distributors we found a couple of products to order… we then faced the problem of the price dropping significantly once our items were in Amazon’s fulfilment centres, people battling out on who can get the lower prices and then loads more sellers joining the listings daily.  We are now, most likely going to run at a loss. We were not told at the beginning that there would be pricing wars, automated bots changing prices.

Anyhow, after things not being as it seems, my business partners and I decided we were unhappy with 7 Figure Cycle, their support and their training and did not feel it gave us value for money. It’s got to the stage where the more recent videos weren’t benefiting us at all.

We decided to request a refund.

We requested a refund on the basis of :

  1. Money back guarantee (at this point we did not request the double your money)
  2. The fact it took 5 weeks to order a product from “The Buyers Club”, we still had not received our free product
  3. The inaccurate data of Profit Hunter. - Profit hunter seems like a waste of money.

We also mentioned that we waited longer than the 60 days to try and achieve sales which we could not do. We wouldn’t have minded even if we broke even using their software but we haven’t!

To summarise some timescales for you:

  • 14 days into cycle for Profit Hunter access
  • 34 days to have an American LLC/FEIN/Sales Tax Code using information they provided
  • 62 days for their Warehouse “The Nerve Centre” registration to be complete
  • Approx. 80 day for any products from their distributors to arrive
  • Approx. 100 days for our free product to arrive

On asking for a refund we initially spoke to Kevin, then to Amara, then to Melissa.

Melissa advised us that we had 60 days to test the program out and we could request a refund within 60 days (we wouldn’t need a reason) and we would be provided with a refund with no questions asked – As per time scales, we could have done but maybe out of respect, but I don’t feel that 60 days was a suitable time scale due to how long it took for us to progress with anything from the 7FigureCycle training end.

On asking Melissa about the “Double you money in 60 days of money back guarantee” she corrected us by mentioning the refund guarantee stated that if we followed the program (which we did) and did not make money we would not only give you a full refund but would double your money back”. – Surely this is what we did?

Melissa then went on to say – “However, your refund request needed to be sent within the 60 day refund period” – I was under the impression that for a refund due to unsatisfactory training this could be requested in the 60 days but that wouldn’t make sense to then provide a double your money refund within 60 days as I don’t feel that’s a long enough time frame to judge a course or try it properly when there are delays. Should we have requested double our money back 59 days in, despite having no warehouse access, no free product, no distributor products from either our distributors or theirs?

When we told Melissa that the Profit Hunter data is unreliable she told us that we are incorrect… I can prove this in black and white.

Melissa told us that the $200 cap to order products from their distributors has been lifted, I did not see where this was announced, nor have I had much luck in ordering any more products.

Melissa also agreed with us that their warehouse turnaround time is slow.

We purchased this course in good faith, mainly for the buyers’ club, profit hunter, Facebook group and warehouse.  Profit Hunter des not work adequately, the Buyers Club is problematic to buy from, The facebook group has been taken down and the warehouse took significant time to join and then far too long for your orders to be processed.

I would not recommend or buy 7 figure Cycle , I feel like I've been ripped off this course and I am very disappointed in their refund policy and I don’t think its fair. Should we have complained at day 59 and got double our money back from them?

As mentioned, I’m sure some people here will be happy but I know quite a few who are not. I welcome questions and the creators to contact me directly to help resolve this situation.

Since I first informed people about what had happened to us I have been contacted... it appears that a lot of people are not happy with 7figure cycle.

There are also other reviews on the internet whereby I have now seen suggesting 7FigureCycle is a scam and a con.
