A 1 Chrome They stole my 1954 Chevy grill and the money I paid them for chroming it Rowland Heights California
On July 4th weekend we went to a car show in Logan Utah and A1 Chrom was there as a vendor. We talked to them about chroming a 1954 bumper, headlight rings and a grill. They told us a price and we paid it, and gave them the items to be chromed. We have received the headlight rings, and the bumper, but they did an awful job on them, but as of yet we have not received the grill. The grill is very hard to find a replacement for. I have had this vehicle for 40 some years and need that grill back. I call about every other day and leave messages on all 4 phone numbers I have for them. We have on occasion had a guy call back and say we have to send more money for shipping or else we will not get the grill back.
We tell him no we have already paid for shipping, and we want the grill back. Then we have on occasion had another guy call back and say "oh that is my brother and he is trying to ruin my business by intersepting the calls. We said that is his problem and should have him arrested, but we want our grill back, he says he will be sending it out next Tuesday. Well this has been going on now for a year. We are going to go to the car show in Logan Utah this year, and we hope so very much they will be there, because from the sounds of it we are not the only other people looking for them.
I called the police department around the Rowland Heights area and reported them, and as I suspected, there is nothing they can do. I am short of just going over there and sitting at the mail distribution address where they get their mail and waiting for someone to come get the mail and follow them back to the business. In the mean time, I will keep calling and hopefully some day some one will answer. I am so glad I found this complaint department website, so I know I am not the only one with this problem. I called the Better Business Bureau and of course if A 1 chrome is not a member, there is nothing they can do. Hopefully others will read this and not get ripped off like I did.

I wrote my initial report in April 2015, and Juan called me back after I had left numerious messages. He stated that he would ship my grill in 2 weeks. Well it has been over 2 weeks and as I expected, no grill or phone call. I tried to call and leave another message, but his box is full. I know YOU read these messages, so when you read this Juan, SEND ME MY GRILL NOW.
