In all fairness, I do believe David feels he is accurate in his statements, however he is missing some very important facts that caused the problems he incurred. David did not mention in his statements that the items that we based his estimate on changed to nearly double. He never made us aware us this prior to his move date and that would automatically affect the weight and charges. David and all of our customers sign a release (copy available for anyone who wishes to see it)stating that there are, in fact, additional charges to the estimate and what they are and what they cost!!! David also did not mention that we did not hold his items hostage, but quite the opposite. he was told of all the charges prior to delivery and agreed to them with absolutely no complaints. When we arrived in Arizona with his items, he refused to pay and offered us considerably less money stating that he had no more money. Why did he not tell us that before we went to Arizona from NJ? He also claimed that there was no one to speak to at delivery time from this office. Hard to believe since I personally spent the better part of that Saturday night on the phone with him. We have also resolved to take $1000 less than his agreed upon balance to rectify the problem. What else should we do? To prevent further mis-understandings we have since provided "guaranteed pricing" when our customers book a move with us. I hope this solves any further "Rip-Off" accusations from our customers...we need them and truly wish to satisfy them. Thank you
