Since Aug 6, 2004 I have been dealing with Ann Wright, ext 224. She is the Assistant to the Director of customer service. She states that she usually deals with States Attorney Generals offices. We got the car towed to the Aamco in Clifton Heights, Pa. They said the car would be done on Tuesday, Aug 9th. Then it was Friday, Aug 13th, then it was Mon. Aug 16th, and then Thurs Aug. 19th, now it's Monday, Aug. 23rd. Of course, Anna Wright is on vacation. It is now two weeks (Aug 6, 04) since my car was towed to the Clifton Heights, PA Aamco Center. The manager, Nick has put me off for two more weeks. He states that he "Does not know what is wrong, so now he will just overhaul the whole transmission, and it will be completed by Monday", August 23rd. Customer service manager, Rochelle King, ext. 301 Has offered to pay for a rental car from today, Aug. 19 until next Thurs. Aug. 26th. @ $25.00 a day. My credit card is maxed out, I can not charge another dime for the rental car. My wife is 9 months pregnate. What do I due if she goes into labor in the middle of the night??? Aamco customer relations "SUCKS CANAL WATER!!!" So far I have spent $1,650.00 on the transmission, and almost $1,700.00 on rental cars. I would have be better off if I drove my car off a cliff!! STAY AWAY FROM AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS IN ANY STATE!!! They should have a sign on their door that reads: "BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID TO ENTER THIS STORE!"
