AAMCO TRANSMISSION ripoff manipulative coniving liars phony pattern of completing IDENTICAL work on all cars regardless of problem rope you in by estimating reasonable quote then SLAM you with astronomical fees!!!! SCARBOROUGH Ontario
This Aamco is totally untrustworty!!! Through personal research I was able to determine that Waynes Aamco (Scarb.Ont.Canada) was completing unncessary repars on several vehicles. They use the same M.O. on there customers. Out of five of us= we all had absolutely different transmission problems whe we went to Aamco (Waynes)BUT we all received IDENTICAL repairs!!!!
We were all charged HUGE fees between $3400.00-$4000.00 for the EXACT same work. They actually rebuilt our transmissions replaced our torque convertors/planetary gear and added a cover for the cooling system. We were all told that our cars ORIGINAL problem began with the radiator being too hot therefore melting the soft and hard parts of the transmission resulting in shavings that then interefered with the gears!!!
WOW!!!!!! When confronted these two guys Wayne and Chris attemt to have an answer for everything.. they are also both extremely condascending!!! Beware of this location.. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!
