I took my car to AAMCO in August of 2001. My transmission was completely out and at the time my car was still under warranty. So Ben is the manger @ AAMCO,. He was the only one i was dealing with in reguards to my car. My car was fix but is was not fix right. I took my car back to Ben 4 times and each time I took my car to him he was very very rude. For example he was real short with me saying ma look I have checked you car and we could not find anything else wrong with it.

I told Ben that instead of my car running like an automatic car it run like a standard. So he sent one of his worker to my jobs so they could ride with me and i could show them the problem. I took one of his worker with me and he to said it was not suppose to run that way. So agian he had my car. I had to go around and around with him about getting me a rental. It was they place to get me a rental because i was still having problems with my car. He finally said he would get me a rental and he did but he did not pay for all the rental fees. Some of the fee was left for me to pay.

The second thing was i took my car back again and he told me well i will checked it out but i don't think there anything i can do. He told me to have a sit and have some donuts & coffee at the time i had my daughter & grandchild with me so i said ok. Then i asked him where are the donuts and coffe he told me over there at Jack & Jill which is across from him. Me and my daughter knew he was begin a smart but so i told my daughter to come on. So it took about 4 to 5 hrs.

When I GOT MY CAR BACK IT WAS STILL RUNNING THE SAME WAY it was when i took it in. I told him that he said there was nothing he could do and he had already been paid. So i was left out in the cold with no where else to turn.

Now a year and a half later my transmission has went completly out again and now it's out of warranty so what do i do. It will cost me 2100.00 to get it fix all over again. I just don't think this is right and i am very upset with these peoples at this time. I don't think he are aamco doned me are my car justice I am back at square one all over again.

Ben is rude and to me seems kind of predigest towards blacks are should i say a black female. He knew that i did know too much about a transmission i trusted him and he let me down not only once But 4 times. THAT'S hOw many times i took my car to him. Every time i took my car to him i got the same attitude. What should i do i need help for someone. Also i am still paying for this car as well. I am very Hurt.

Sharon~~~~~Your situation needs a little more work towards the shop~~~~You need toput your thoughts on paper~~~the amount of times that went back ~~the outcomes of each incident~~~~~~~and ask for a response in writing from the shop in 5 days~~~~Remember:~~~~your warranty was valid and you took it back more than once and the problem was never solved~~~~if they said that the job was ok~~~~did they ever provide you with paperwork (each) time the car was worked on?~~~This is required for aamco shops to do~~~~A shop CANNOT legaly work on your car without a contact. (work order) each work order is numbered an part of the AAMCO requirement to report all services provided~~~~~At this point you are left the option of the court system to file a claim ~~~~in your letter make good notes on mileage/promises~~~send you letter (return receipt requested) this way someone from the shop needs to sign for it~~~~(with this you have given them constructive notice) they must respond to you.~~~~~~let me know what happens~~~~~~~~THE TRANZMN
