I am one of the many victims of the AAMCO Transmission Service Shops. It was way too late when I founf this website. My story begins September 5th of 2001. I called AAMCO for a transmission check, cause my tranny has been sliding when shifting to 3rd and 4th gears. The Buttholes there checked it, and it always to amazed me, that every diagnostic solutions they have for a transmission service is REBUILDING the freaking tranny.

It has been a common practice of AAMCO to do this particular practice. They know that the public has no choice but to agree on their possible answers on our own(consumers) mechanical problems.

So, after a week of them "FIXING" my car, I hounded them about the status of my car everyday until they claim that it is fixed. I went and pick up my car, I asked the Manager....RICHARD BAILEY, if he can ride with me for a drive test. I think, it is a good common practice, to show customers that they are important and their business in important to them. But after I paid him of $2500, He decided not to go with me for the test drive.

He also INFORMED me that my car ride will be rough for a couple of days because the transmission fluid hasn't fully lubricated the parts inside the brand new rebuild tranmission.

So, I went ahead and believe him. MAN, my car ride went from bad to WORST....the problem wasn't fix..sliding like hell and when I brought it back after a week, a mechanic went out with a screw driver, adjusted the screw for the gas pedal line, without diagnosing throughly what the problem is.

They said, that I should wait for a while again, at least drive it for a 1000 miles, and if this particular problem still comes up, don't hesitate to bring the car back to them.

Now, Im afraid to bring it back there cause they might create more damage and i will end up paying more money to them NO GOOD Business Scam.

So people of Southern MD, BEWARE OF AAMCO......

They only want your money.......

Mr. Owner,

Im afraid that the AAMCO way is to screw and rip people off their hard work money, while your guys are making sure that they can make easy money by not performing the task at hand properly and professionally. Look further more in this website, and you'd be surprise that there are series of trends that AAMCO follows on how to take people's money.

And what is it you can guarantee to me, that if i ever bring back my car for the right service in order to fix what the problems of my vehicle??
