There are no "credit checks" means we do not check your credit. So if your credit is a solid gold 800 or garbage 250, the process is still the same. 3-5 ref, where you work and where you live. We check to make sure your gainfully employed, full time, if you rent we verify that you do and that you pay your rent on time. The comment above is very accurate. It's funny how customers act, like we should just give them the property no questions asked. I can't tell you how many times customers don't really have the job they say they do, or are days away from being evicted. The check issue is also common sense, every business I have ever written a check to and asked for a refund has you wait up to two weeks. Why should Aarons be any different? The truth is some of our customers have been irresponsible with their credit and we are more than willing to help repair that situation but the customer has to understand that we can't do everything for you there will come times that you have to help yourself.

If someone walked up to you and asked to borrow $350 and offered to give you roughly $40 upfront to borrow that $350, wouldn't you want to know something about the person before you forked over the $350? Sounds as if they would like to know a little about you before they give you something that they own. As far as not refunding your money same day, I can see the concern there as well. What if they refund you cash and the check bounces? What if you stop payment on it? I would also wait until the check clears before refunding money on it.
