Absolute towing Towing scam at apartments Colorado springs, Colorado
I have lived in the vista peak appartments for about a year. Nine to ten months ago new managment moved in saying they were working on cleaning up the appartments. They are what u would call getto appartments but do to my income and having to be the sole provider of.a family of five one of with is my new baby girl. Just a poor family tring to survive on what we have. Like most people who live here,we have no extra money. Around the same time as the new management moved in so did there good friends in crime ABSOLUTE TOWING . They require u to have a car tag stuck on your car to now park here or u will be towed. Your friends cant come visit for fear of being towed. I personaly have had.three of my vehicles towed, there is the option to get a temp tag from the office but the office has banker hours. U can also call absolute and tell them the make and model of your car but dont let that fool u because they still toewd me.The scam ... They work with.apartment management who are friends with ron at absolute and friends around the appartments to call when a vehicle that doesnt have a tag pulls in to the appartments at with time absolute sends the tow truck to get it, now if u are one of the fortunate people to catch them while they are tring to take your vehicel they will drop it from the tow truck if u pay them cash in hand,right then and there $60. No paper work! They pocket it! Or if u dont catch the the price veries from$260 to $300. I cant park where I live, I have lost alot of money stolen by a crook and acrooked company.
