ACTION MOVING SERVICES ripoff Montreal Quebec
I called this moving company because I was relocating to Halifax from Toronto. They gave me a very good estimate based on a list of items I gave them that I was moving. My estimate with tax was 1571.00. based on 1800lbs .
A few things changed on my list but nothing that would of made a great change. So a few weeks later I get the call that my stuff is ready to be delivered and the cost was now 2600.00. I cannot get a honest answer out of the company as to why. They claim my stuff was 3700 lbs but will not give me proof. So if thats true then the estimate is a scam to get my businss.
Also on delivery my stuff was mixed up with someone elses so I have no idea how they properly weighed it or had any idea what they were charging me.
I doubt I will ever see any of the money back but I just want to let it be known that I got scammed and never use this service.
