Ade Muamaah Replied to an advert offering birds for sale. Then a week later told that your birds were in transit and you needed to pay for the transportation costs ripoff Dublin & Leeds Ireland Internet
I replied to many adverts looking for a parrot for my daughter and eventually found a number offering birds for adoption. I replied that I was interested in the birds that were on offer and then heard nothing for about ten days. Without any notice I was told that the birds that I wanted were in transit and were at the Airport and that I had to pay for the transport costs before they could be sent.
I was asked to pay 160.00 to pay for the cost of sending the birds to the UK. A couple of days later I was told that the birds could not be sent because the carrier wasn't prepared to carry the birds if they weren't insured and I was asked to pay 90.00 of which 85% would be refunded when the birds arrive. I was then advise that hte birds were in Englad and that they had been sent to Leeds and that they were in quarrentine until they were given a couple of shots and then rather than stresssing the birds further by sending them by air they would be brought down with a courier and delivered to my address by 4.00pm today but that I would have to apy 80.00 for the injections and courier that would be bring them to London.
When I open my Email this morning I was told that the birds had been stolen and that I would have to pay another 300.00 so that I could be refunded for the money that I had already spent. At this time I then called the police and advised them that I had been a victim of obtaining money by deception.
There were a number of site that I visited to find parrots for Sale. Be carefull of offers of Eggs for sale on these sites plus Parrots for sale for adoption

The web site for this company is Airanimal.com As I have stated I was asked first for 160.00 payable by Moneygram for the transportation of the birds to my home address. I was then advise that the birds could not be sent unles there was insurance on the birds. 90.00 for the insurance. Then I was asked for 80.00 for further inocculations once the birds were here in the UK. Now I am asked for 300.00 so that I can claim my money back. But if I have already paid for Insurance why should I pay again to get my money back. This smacks of deception after deception. This company has a head office in the USA and I have their telephone numbers
