While in the Venetian in Las Vegas, I was offered a free sample and escorted into the store to get "one more thing." Before I knew it, they were basically giving me a facial without any warning of how long I would be in the store. It took over an hour. After high pressure sales tactics, I purchased some products. The next day, I attempted to return the unopened products. The store refused and referred me to a customer service phone number. However, it was Sunday, so customer service was closed. I had to call after my flight home on Sunday. I explained to Charissa (?) that I had broken out after the products were used on me. She said she needed proof. They were little white pus filled bumps that were hard to see, but easily felt. I did not have a fancy digital camera with macro settings with me. I had my iPhone and the bumps were hard to see. She told me that she had no proof that what I was saying was true and that I should've visited a dermatologist while in Vegas. Because it's so easy to get a specialist appointment on a Sunday for an irritation. Note sarcasm. I considered small claims court, but I would have to take off work, buy plane tickets and get a room. I determined that it would be too expensive a risk in case the judge sided with them.
