Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I signed up once for a three month membership. I was charged the correct amount and accepted the charge on my bank card. After that I turned my "auto renew" to off, but continued to get charged on my bank card for their "services".

I have had to close my bank account twice already to stop these charges but somehow they used a closed account to make charge backs. This was a business account that I keep at 0 balance and use only when necessary. I personally have made no charges on it since last spring.

They are disputing my dispute by some complicated, small print proof that I indeed had been renewing my account when this is not true.

What is shocking is that they included my entire ALT. profile as part of their response to the bank, which totally shocked me as this information is highly personal and not something they needed to send to the bank for any reason. It proved nothing.

They indeed have a scam going here and I have been unable up to this point to stop them. I have written them emails with no response, but did, on the bank complaint find the person who was the contact person. Larry Weaver. His email address is [email protected] - I really don't know what his title is, and also it names the business as "Various, Inc" "Merchant Risk".... like the merchant is at risk, which is a joke.

I have spent months and over $200 of service fees to get this re-credited to my account which the bank finally did, until yesterday when the bank got some bogus information from Alt.com saying yes, I HAD been renewing my membership, and that they sent me an email offer that I responded to. This is not true.  The bank then charged back the amount they had originally charged off, putting me back in the same situation.

I checked the alt.com site and put in the information including username, password and email address... this information was all provided to the bank. When I did try to log in, it said there was NO account under this user name, and no matching email account or password.

I have seen many accounts of Friend Finder doing this to many people. It is only a $37 charge, but taken from a closed account, closed specifically so these people won't have a credit card number to use. Still, they managed to charge it on the old card and it appeared on my new card. They were able to do this because they back dated the charge to the date I did have the old card. I can't see how they can charge to two accounts that have both been cancelled due to their deceptive activity. There is no other activity on either of these cards except for them. I simply don't use them, they are a business account.

It was extremely humiliating to have them send my entire alt profile (remember this is a BDSM site ) to the banker and I'm sure they got a big kick out of that and I feel it was not only an invasion of my privacy but attempts to make me look "bad" to the bank and also a spiteful act on their part in order to get back at people who file complaints. This just isn't right.

I have sent emails to this Larry Weaver but doubt I will get any charge off or even a return email. Their "comments" or "complaint" area is an email only, no phone number and only a street address, no names. They have never once answered an email I have sent to them to complain about this.

I just want to warn people about this scam. It came to my attention because it was taken out of an account rarely used, but there are some people who have many charges each month and they might overlook this.

I have supplied as much contact information as I can and hope it helps other people out.

Good luck to all.

Hi Linda, Im sorry to hear about the s* you went through with ALT.com. I dont know if you know this but they do have an address listed which when put in google led me to this site and others, because I have a problem with my BDSM.com account. I cannot log into it and they tell that the email address im contacting customer service on is not the same as the one I registered on the site with, whats that got to do with being able to log in??

I have sent them screen shots of their emails at my email address and everything, now im concerned that the videos ive posted will fall into the wrong hands. Also I paid for a month Gold subscription to see the benefits and it will run out before I get to finish using it.
