I received a phone call from the Fraud Unit from my bank, Fifth Third Bank regarding unusual debit card activity. Insodoing, I went into the bank itself
only to find out that $103.00 had been taken out of my account by a company called Ageless Beauty. Today, I talked to a representative from Ageless
Beauty who claimed that I authorized charges for samples of their skin product. The company's representative identified himself as Randy. I told Randy
that I never signed up for the beauty samples and that I had not received anything from Ageless Beauty. Randy then proceeds to give me tracking numbers to take to the post office because more than likely my samples are there.
I started to get angry, and told Randy, do you not understand? My debit card number wa stolen, and I have had to go to my bank and get it replaced with a
new one. Ageless Beauty, in the meantime, has taken $103.00 out of my checking account, and I want my money back.
Randy proceeded to argue with me. I told him that I was going to file a complaint with The State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.
It is bad enough that my debit card number was stolen, and used by some unknown person, but to have a company literally go in and take $103.00 out of my account without my knowledge, really hurts. This company is shady at best, and offered absolutely no help.
