In January, I purchased a miniature pot belly pig from this store. I talked with the owner, Christi Albright, for a long time in the store that day and she assured me what wonderful pets her pigs make and also gave me her cell number to reach her anytime with questions.

I paid them $400 via credit card for this pig.

2 weeks later, the pig was not working out. It was nothing like she said it would be and we were having an aweful experience. I called her cell phone, like she told me to, to discuss this with her. She got all emotional and started crying to the point where she couldn't even speak to me anymore. She put her husband on the phone, who was completely mad because I had made his wife cry. He was rude to me and told me to bring the pig back to him the next day. I agreed, and he told me what time to meet him.

I showed up and the store was closed, it was dark outside and there was no one around but this grown man and me and my young daughter. I felt very pressured and uncomfortable. I was in no position to argue and there was no one around to help me if something went wrong.

He drew up an agreement stating that he would take the pig back, put him back up for resale, and then refund my money upon reselling the pig.

After 6 months of them ignoring all email attempts, I called them to inquire about my refund. Christi Albright made up all kinds of lies saying that the pig needed 4 months of therapy to be resocialized and that it had sores all over him that needed antibiotics. None of that is true. I have pictures of the pig in my home and he is healthy and fine.

I did nothing but try my best to take care of this pig. She said that she spent so much on vet bills after getting him back from me that she had lost money and couldn't resell him; that she adopted him out instead. Basically she said she is not giving me any of my money back. She is lying and not living up to her end of the contract.
