AIU, American Intercontinental, Career Education, CEC SACS - Accredition Visits will determine whether AIU remains on probation, is placed in good standing, or has its accreditation REVOKED Hoffman Estates Illinois
SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) is visiting AIU campuses this month. These visits will determine whether AIU remains on probation, is placed in good standing, or has its accreditation REVOKED.
"Since (AIU's) ability to get federal aid funds depends on accreditation, why not release (AIU's) SACS self-study and SACS' complete findings to the public? Most public and even some private schools do - (AIU) uses those of other schools when writing its own self-studies.
If public money is spent supporting private institutions, and consumers (students) are basing their decision to attend (AIU) on its accreditation, why should (AIU and SACS) not be required to make these documents public? -- Because only the investors' interests are taken into account, not the students'!"
