AIU - American InterContinental Career Education Campus Ripoff layoffs & the usual mismanagement Hoffman Estates Illinois
Same old, same old. AIU flagship Buckhead campus lays off 20 staff members without warning & escorts them from the building.
Can anyone guess how this affects services to students paying such high tuition? This was done to increase profitability while enrollments are declining due to accreditation problems and various government investigations.
Lessons never learned - on again, off again, on again - online courses at Buckhead campus. Discontinued, reinstated & enrolled students, then cancelled, now reinstating.
How many weeks are in a term? 10 weeks, then 8 weeks, now back to 10 weeks.
Buckhead campus lease is almost up - will have to move soon. Looking to merge with Dunwoody campus. Campuses have already merged advertising - always separate before.
No confidence on campus and lowest employee morale ever. Lots of things for accreditors to look at in upcoming months.
What fool would pay money to attend a school with so many problems? Can anyone really think that AIU would be laying off employees if everything was absolutely just swell?
