The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Mike Miller during an onsite inspection held by a third-party verification company with no biases towards Alexander, Miller and Associates.

Alexander, Miller and Associates is a commercial collection agency that does business primarily with receivable management for corporations. Mike Miller stated the following about him company, "we do not do any retail collections. We represent any company that has another company that has a delinquent account. Whether they be slow pay, no pay, or disputes. We try to mediate those disputes professionally outside of the civil arena so our clients don’t have to take that long walk across the courthouse steps or start throwing good money into chasing bad money. They turn to us on a contingency basis in order to try to assist them in the collections of any past due accounts they have. We do not charge our clients a fee unless we collect. We don’t get paid unless they get paid."

Leads for Alexander, Miller and Associates are primarily obtained through client referrals and repeat business. Mr. Miller proceeded to explain the services they offer potential clients, "We are diverse financial institution. We specialize in fast track commercial debt recovery as well as onsite inspections. We offer a wide array of various collection methods. Like I’d stated previously, to assist our clients to get paid before filing lengthy and costly law suits. Our goal as a collection agency is not only to exceed our client’s expectations by maximizing recovery on delinquent receivables and then consistently improving our quality of service and maintaining that high level of integrity and professionalism that has set the standard in our industry. We utilize experienced and highly trained collection professionals."



CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – ALEXANDER, MILLER AND ASSOCIATES

During the on-site interview, Mr. Miller was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Mr. Miller stated the following, "Fortunately, we’ve never had that issue. It’s almost unheard of in this industry. We have never had a complaint from a client whether it be legitimate or illegitimate. We have never had a law suit filed against us and have maintained a gold star certificate rating with the BBB. We have no complaints from clients or previous clients."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Miller stated the following, " IT was a disgruntled employee and not by our customer. It was submitted by Hans out of Atlantic City NJ. We ever had an employee or a client by the name of Hans. They basically tried to extort us and use slander and utilize fraudulent info. This is entirely unnecessary. I know who the employee is. We bent over backwards. The employee worked for us for 5 years. We even helped them finance a car. When you go above and beyond the call of duty for employees and they are so vindictive in nature to put something harmful online. I don’t want to keep putting the name of Land Star out there. Land Star has been a great client of ours and never had any payment issues. We’ve never had any complaints from clients. We have this one complaint from an employee that is obviously vindictive and false." In order to further assure future and current clients Alexander, Miller and Associates have a general council that is board certified in consumer and commerical collections by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and are members of the Texas Association of Commercial Collections.

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to making things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Miller stated, "we have a forum on our website where people can submit complaints as well as submitting complaints to the BBB. Most agencies would be members of the BBB because of the client complaints as well as the client’s customers complaints. It’s a very easy forum to post online about an abrasive collector or they may have a bad taste in their mouth about a legitimate debt. Most collection agencies have a plethora of complaints from the customers that are turned over to collections. We don’t have any. We opened our selves up to that level of transparency by being members of the BBB as well as the Advocacy Program through Ripoff Report and any other review forums online. We address all complaints immediately. Our manager would review the complaint and respond to the complainant and be sure that we can overcome any problems or legitimate complaints they may have. Whether it be against the company or against a specific employee or contractor of the corporation. After addressing the complaint, we would meet with the contractor or employee and address the complaint with them and then follow up with it however upper management deems fit."
