All American Vending placed an ad in the local paper indicating that there was an existing vending route for sale for $9,000.00. This ad was simply to entice customers. No actual route existed. All American Vending uses Cornerstone Marketing as a locator service. The price for the location service is included in their package price. Cornerstone Marketing is currently being sued by the Federal Trade Commission for misrepresenting income potential and poor quality service. Cornerstone's previous companies, Best Locations, Prestige Marketing, etc. have been shutdown for the same reasons. They have a history of misrepresenting earnings, poor service and unfulfilled contracts.

All American Vending misrepresented the earning potential for their Mighty-4 machines. Chris Putname, the owner of Cornerstone Marketing, guarantees All American Vending 25 vends per day per Mighty-4 machine. Anyone in the vending business knows that this kind of guarantee is ridiculous. Twenty five people would have to walk by the machine and place a quarter in the machine every day. There are very few places to place these machines. Most locations have corporate policies preventing candy machines or hire a large professional company to place and service machines. These Mighty-4 machines end up being placed in inner city, poorer neighborhoods, along side other vending business opportunity machines. Vending is very cut throat.

All American Vending's Mighty-4 machines are of very low quality. The inside mechanisms are all plastic and the brushed steel they are made out of is easy to bend. Children can easily break the plastic dispensor shoot and reach in to steal the money. The calibration of the number of candies dispensed does not seem to work correctly. I've found that every machine has complaints that quarters were put in and nothing was dispensed. These machines should sell for $50.00 but All American Vending sells them for $480.00. There are a number of higher quality lower priced machines available.

The only people who make money buying these machines are All American Vending sales people (they make $15,000 profit on an order of $20,000) and the location service which makes on the order of $30,000.00 per month. The location service is motivated to place machines fast instead of placing the machine in a good location for the customer. Most of the machines that are placed end up being removed within the first week because owners were pressured into making quick decisions about accepting the machines. Once the owners have time to think about it their initial reaction was correct ... not to accept the machine. You will frequently hear "If you don't pick this machine up it's going in the dumpster".

I can honestly tell you that nothing All American Vending said and nothing Cornerstone Marketing said was true. REALLY get the sales person to admit whether or not they own machines ... most will tell you they do when in fact they don't. If the earning potential was really as good as they claim then the sales people would not be selling machines but would be locating and servicing their own machines. The Location service knows nothing about placing and servicing machines, they are simply brokers taking profits from setting you up with a locator. Good, reliable locators are extremely hard to find.

Bottom line is if you do buy the machines from All American Vending you are in for a surprise. Earnings will be about 1/10th what they tell you and will hardly be worth your time and effort. You can then file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but they will simply ignore it. Oh, and all the support they claim they will give you will be non-existant.
