monday a.m the 5th pf march had car towed to this shop on s.s blvd here in ocala- after reading in phone book - we go the xtra mile free p-up and delivery for all repairs. i took it as they had paid towing. this was a totaly misleading article. at my home he told me i needed a starter and battery, for the starter i was looking at 280$ and they install interstate batteries but could get me a cheaper one. sotherefore had it towed.

once there 1.5 hrs. later he called me to the back and said it was gonna be 469$ for everything. i said why so much?? he was gonna install a top quality starter that was 380$ and i should not have any problems from it( i had just had starter installed i.5 years ago at another place) and was installing interstate battery.

i asked him if that was labor and everything he stated yes it was everything. he said it would take about an hour. went to lunch called my mom to let her know how much it was etc. when got back form lunch, the car was ready. siging out it signed the paper then to see a 604$ charge was circled, i flipped out and asked why this was so much?? they charged 65 for towing(which i have roadside assnt, which would have been a no chrg.

if i knew this) a 10$ oil chang. for the free service he said he was not gonna chrg. me for. 27$ misc. shop fee have no clue what this is and tax. i was very upset , i was told i would have to talk to timmy the manager whom i was dealing with. which he was out to lunch.

i figuared i would leave and just contact him by phone i had already missed to much time from work. got home the car was smoking like crazy, called back they said bring it back, which i did. a bad oil filter it had exploded and kept my car for another 45mins. at this time mr. timmy was back so i spoke with him his anwers to my quetions were, you authorized the work. and he thought i knew that didnt include tax and other i said no when i ment everything i asked him labor and everything he said yes everything and the towing well what it says in the phone book means they will p-up you and deliver you with all repairs.

(totaly misleading) and claims he told me this at my home--well if he did why would i have not called my roadside assnt. i was very very unhappy as there were two other customers having very ubsatisfied differences with them at this very time.

one gentleman claimed he was going directly to the sts. attnys. office right then, he called they gave him a quote after waiting for almost 2 hrs. they called him to the back and stated twice as much as what they first told him. he was very very upset.

i also have a best friend whom was also taken by this comp. about 3 weeks prior.i am not done with this company and am also going to sts. attnys. office about this.

not to mention my husband was also taken by this company after paing 1700$ for a new clutch much more to this story also. this was less than a year ago, but after coming to my house and giving me a quote that was half resonable is why i decided to go there, then when i was towed i was pretty much stuck there.

The customer contacted all tune and lube because their car would not start. When the customer called they asked if all tune and lube had free pick up and delivery. They were informed that All Tune and Lube routinely gave customer's rides home or to work while their vehicle was being worked on. The customer asked if All Tune and Lube had free towing and we informed them that we did not have free towing. Customer asked how much tow was to the shop and All Tune and Lube quoted $65.00, customer asked to have the vehicle towed and All Tune and Lube gave the customer the phone number to the tow company explaining that the customer could pay the driver for the tow or that the customer could pay All Tune and Lube for the tow once the repairs were completed. The customer asked to have the tow bill added to the repair bill and All Tune and Lube asked for the last four digits of the customer's social security number to authorize the $65.00 bill on the tow and to start diagnosing the vehicle when it arrived by tow truck after the customer called the tow company to have the vehicle delivered to All Tune and Lube. The customer had the vehicle towed to All Tune and Lube and the vehicle was diagnosed. The customer was called with the estimate and authorized the repair. All Tune and Lube asked the customer for the date of their birthday because the transaction was being done by phone. The customer gave All Tune and Lube the birthdate and asked when they could pick up the car. All Tune and Lube asked if the customer needed a ride to the shop, the customer said yes, All Tune and Lube picked the customer up and delivered them to the shop. When the customer got to All Tune and Lube the customer made a big scene saying that they did not authorize any repairs or towing. When confronted the customer agreed that the customer had called the tow truck, not All Tune and Lube and that the customer authorized the tow bill to be added to the invoice by providing the last four digits of their social security number and that All Tune and Lube had called the customer with a full estimate before proceeding with repairs and that the repairs were authorized by giving All Tune and Lube their birthdate. The customer was also given a ride to pick up the vehicle. The customer paid the bill in full and left.
