In December 2002 I ordered on line from Allenbeys, an OMNI Grip Reacher that cost $45.90 with tax and shipping. My credit card was billed immediately for the purchase. The product did not arrive in time for Christmas as promised.
On 1/13/03 Joan, at Allenbeys, said my account would be credited. I never received the credit nor did I ever receive the product.
After numerous calls to Joan with empty promises each time, I called the Better Business Bureau in June 2003. Eventually Allenbeys told the BBB that a check was sent to me for the refund prior to my complaint. The BBB closed their file at that point.
I maintain that a check was never received by me at any time from Allenbeys. I moved to a new address (from CT to FL) and made sure I gave Joan the address during, one of my many phone calls.
They refuse to deal with me and will not produce a cancelled check to show they paid (which they did not)
