Allied Barton Security Services Nightmare Company!! King Of Prussia Pennsylvania
Allied Barton was a great company to work for until something goes wrong. For instance, I was transferred from one site to another, and was then on vacation for a week. It just so happened that when the company looked at weeks and hours worked to determine eligibilty for Insurance Benefits, that was the one month they decided to look at. I fell at 32 hours a week on average that month. You must be at 35 to be considered for benefits. I then had to wait a whole six months from that point on.
Here is the kicker of it all. Due to certain circumstances I was unable to get to a phone to call out of work. My aunt knew this and called out for me. She began calling at 10 in the morning and I was due in at 3, so that gives plenty of time to find a replacement. However, the phone was busy until 1 PM. The supervisor tend to be on the phone to Gautamala for hours on end. When she finally got through, the supervisor informed her that unless I called myself I would be considered a no call no show and would be fired and that she could tell me that. I was then informed by the case manager that I was suspened pending termination due to a no call no show. (if anyone who works for the company reads the handbook under call outs, no where does it say that the employee HAS to be the one that calls out!)
I let them know that I would have an employment law attorney call Human Resources, and that is when they switched my status to terminated. And now, these jackasses are trying to block my unemployment. I busted my but for this company for horribe pay and really horrible benefits, and this is how they repay me!
I hope that the company losed employees and clients due to their horrible realtionships with their employees.

I work for this company in Wisconsin, and I was told that some regions get insurance and others dont. The office people get insurance. Then they get mad because people miss work. Maybe if we had insurance we could go to the doctor before or after work, get antibiotics, and be back to work the next day. Wow, brilliant. I've worked for them for 2 years and I can't stand it. I'm trying to find another job. Please people, don't get sucked into this company. It isn't worth it.

NOBODY with these people gets insurance and if they do it probably won't be provided by the company. Depending on your management, the client probably wants to provide it. ( Our mangement in Austin,Texas --when I was there --didn't thinkwe "deserved" it.) IF they promised you company - paid insurance, NOBODY gets that except maybe a few favorites or "show" employees so they can point to them if somebody asks if the company REALLY does provide all these good benefits and then they can say,"Talk to this person." But the average, ordinary guard, you and I , HAD NO CHANCE IN HELL of getting anything but the door. They do NOT give a d**n about YOU or anything about YOU except to use you all up and throw you AWAY when they can't use you anymore. And you probably won't get any worker's compensation or ANY SORT OF ASSISTANCE FROM THEM EITHER! It was NO ACCIDENT that they happened to move you around a lot to deny you any benefits. THEY SET YOU UP FOR FAILURE which is illegal as hell according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission people but they won't come to bat for you ebcause this BUSH Administration does not give a d**n about working, ordinary people either. This stuff happens with these people ALL of the time. They offer you all of these benefits to come to work for them-- just long enough to where you have to use them as an employment reference --and then when you are in the trap, they will FIND AN EXCUSE --EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO LIE AND FABRICATE ONE SO THAT YOU WILL NOT GET THE BENEFITS THEY PROMIOSED. Like setting you up and firing you under false pretenses before you can get this vacation pay or the week off they promised. THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS BECAUSE NOBODY GIVES A d**n! Most people call security officers "rent a pig" and cop wannabes and untilsecrutiy people unionize or get together to FIGHT THIS HORRIBLE SUBHUMAN TREATMENT, we will NEVER have ANY RIGHTS! THIS IS HOW IT IS WITH EVERY PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD PROVIDING COMPANY. Good luck trying to find an employment attorney to help you. YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE CHECKED WITH THE RIP-OFF REPORT BEFORE YOU EVER WENT TO WOKR FOR THESE EXPLOITERS. AND BE SURE TO BLOG AND TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE AND HOW HORRIBLE IT IS TO WORK THERE!
