If you are insured with Allstate Insurance Co. for your home, auto or any other reason...Good Luck.....you will not be treated fairly, they will rip you ...off..i had always stayed away from this company because they have such a bad reputation....however, I was rear ended by a guy who had All State Auto insurance. I filed a claim, did not hear from them for many months, the local Corona, Ca. office personnel who handled my claim did not return my calls...finally, I called the head office who made the local office respond to my queries. I submitted all the invoices including the medical bills, the only letter that I got from Allstate was that they are looking into the claim. I had paid for the medical bills out of my pocket and asked them to immediately reimburse me...they refused and said I will have to accept a LOWBALL offer for the entire claim otherwise, they will not pay.

Meanwhile, they sent me a check (once again, a very low amount to have my car repaired)...this went on for many months, they would not budge or negotiate from their very unreasonable offer for my medical expenses, loss of pay, pain and suffering. I read an article that the managers of Allstate get reimbursed with paid vacations and bonuses if they settle claims that are to their benefit...most people settle because they have already spent their own money and are anxious to get reimbursed....I DID NOT.... I took them to SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND WON....got substantiallly more than what they offered me.....the best part was, THEY DRAGGED THE POOR GUY WHO REAR ENDED ME TO COURT..he had to take a day off, loose pay and stand in front of the judge and admit that he rear ended me.......WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS..???? Anyway, dont let these guys bully you SUE THE LOW LIFES.

I love how you call the offer a lowball. Since you are the claimant, meaning you filed on his insurance, they only owe you ACV( actual cash value).  So if you 1984 Honda Accord was rear-ended, they only owe you for the value of that car minus depreciation.

They are not required to upgrade you to a 2010 Honda Accord. So yeah it probably was a low offer, if you wanted to be paid in full, you should have filed on your insurance paid your deductible.

I can assure you that the paid vacations they do give out are based on performance only not how much they pay out on claims.

Your definition of logic is truly unique; it defies any rational outlook and brings us back to my original point, which is: YOU ARE AN A$S. I'm not even going to attempt to dignify this "discussion" with another response to your inane blather because frankly it's not worth my time. I recognize that this forum is primarily an outlet for folks like yourself who have established in their minds an opinion which is based on a negative victim mentality. There's little hope of this exchange actually educating other people about the experience you've had. Yes, I've enjoyed insulting you because I assume you're an idiot. That's about the most I can expect in return. Thank you for enlightening us all. You dumba$s. I pray that you will not breed.

Hey Dumbkoff......i wrote about the Allstate Insurance co in March of 2008...you filed a rebuttal in April 2010....this means that you took almost two years to read my complaint...so its not my english that is deplorable, its yours.  Did you ever get a high school diploma?? Anyway, you wanted to know what 3 D's stands for?  IT DENY, DENY, DENY...thats the Allstate motto....any pea brained a*s would have known this. You have the audacity to state that everybody in Louisiana are corrupt and you implied that the victims of Katrina who lost their homes and had to fight Allstate are also corrupt.  And you trashed the Los Angeles Times even though they conducted a precise, professional investigation of Allstate's deceptive practices. What about all those people who wrote about their less than pristine experience with Allstate on the Rip Off Report? Are they a*s's too? Bottom line, you are definitely an employee of Allstate, if your company can shaft thousands of policy holders, wont be long before they can your butt.  ANYWAY, MY FINAL THOUGHT IS THAT IN THE FUTURE, I WILL HESITATE TO ARTICULATE ON A SUBJECT THAT IS SO DUBIOUS TO YOUR MENTAL CAPABILITIES.

to respondents #3 and #4, aka: "the a*s"...by the way you're still an a*s, but you seem to have benefitted from composition and grammar lessons apparently during your hiatus. To answerer #3, in regards to the "boxing strategy" & "3d's" you mentioned,...what in the H. are you talking about??? Sounds like insider jargon to me. I for one have never heard of those terms. Have we been taking cues from lawsuit attorneys & bitter ex-insurance company employee "family members"? Please come up with something better than that. So you agree with Mr. Asshat...who cares? Your opinion doesn't matter. Have you been burned as a claimant or as a policyholder, or even better...as an ex-EMPLOYEE? Hmmmm. What did they terminate you for? Being Stupid... probably. Again: More details please! One thing you dopes don't do is EXplain. One thing you do very well is COMplain.
Sorry to rain on your money parade, but small claims court victory laps and class action suits don't really cut it as proof of your position Burro-man. Obtaining a class action suit victory in the state of Louisiana for an event that occurred during the most corrupt presidential administration this side of Jimmy Hoffa is nothing to gloat about. And do you really believe the Los Angeles Times is a credible reference in investigative reporting when considering the majority of tort cases are filed in the State of California?? Remember the word Lawyer starts with the letters "LA". My advice to you jackass boy is to take more writing lessons and invent better curses! (fleas in my armpits..??? Sounds like a case of personal experience).

Letter to the guy from Sandiego

To the guy in sandiego...who called me an a*s...for reporting about the deceptive sales practices of Allstate insurance company....if you are right, then there are MANY other asses...1.  The judge in the small claims court who agreed with my case and awarded me more than what allstate offered me as a settlement 2. The HUNDREDS of Katrina claimants who lost their homes and were insured with Allstate, and were denied compensation because Allstate claimed that the damage to their homes was caused by water and not by wind...they filed a class action lawsuit and won  3.  Another big a*s is Los Angles Times who investigated many of the All state employees and reported and confirmed bonuses and trips to employees who lowballed claims. 4. Another policy holder who was denied medical benefits  and cash up front for bills when he was burned in a car accident for no fault of his own...all state offered me a small settlement if he signed away his claim......he went to a lawyer and got a huge settlement....No sir, the biggest a*s of all is you...obviously you are an employee of Allstate, you probably got a trip to Hawaii for screwing your policy holders...i have a question and a wish...how do you sleep at night? and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.

I agree with the original report, as I am a policy holder who is currently experiencing the "boxing glove" stratagey. Also, I did seasonal work for them once and have a relative whom worked for them for year's before they QUIT. Due to the 3d's they are required to do to people. An yes they do get paid for not paying claim's or low balling people. I will never work for or use them again!

From your complaint, I'm assuming you have never been insured with Allstate and have never been a customer or policyholder. So it is irresponsible of you just by your experience as a claimant to proclaim people who do currently hold policies with Allstate will have problems; your situation and actual Allstate customers' situations are not comparable. You sir, are an a*s. It's evident from your tone and the way you write. Aside from that observation, you do not appear to grasp the concept that you may share some responsibility to follow through and pursue a damage claim if that's what you intend to do. The insurance claims department has obligations to follow up and send written notice to you by mail...which they probably did in the following months and which you probably "didn't get", which is the excuse that most people with your attitude come up with. Just because you gave them the wrong contact information or no contact information or plainly did not respond to correspondence, doesn't give you the right to act like a spurned toddler and show up at an actual claims office in an irate disposition. With people acting the way they do these days all over the issue of money, you're lucky they didn't taze you and haul you off to jail when came to them in person. Hurrah for your court victory. At least you had enough brains to do that because it at least was some measure you took on your behalf to get the process resolved. I'm convinced that just because you are the way you are, any attempt by Allstate to invite you to cooperate was thwarted because you like all other obstinate jackasses who don't understand insurance want it your way 100%. It doesn't always work that way. Don't trash a company's reputation just because you want more $$$dough$$$ out of them...and your allegations about managers' bonuses...ridiculous.

""the best part was, THEY DRAGGED THE POOR GUY WHO REAR ENDED ME TO COURT..he had to take a day off, loose pay and stand in front of the judge and admit that he rear ended me.......WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS"" The answer is simple: your claim is actually against the person who caused your losses. The person who hit you was the defendant. The next time something like this happens to you, don't wait MONTHS. Give them a reasonable amount of time, and then telephone the person who hit you to let them know that you are suing him/her. Wait a few business days and then go file your lawsuit against the person who hit you. A similar thing happened to me when someone hit my wife a few decades ago. The insurance (Kemper I believe) didn't want to pay to have the car completely repainted (custom paint.) As soon as the kid who hit our car was served with the summons to small claims, his father (the owner of the car) had a few words with his insurance agent and presto, like magic, they paid the custom shop for the repairs (the car was towed from the accident scene directly to the custom shop for repairs.)
