I purchased 3 Cybersonic toothbrushes several years ago and gave as gifts. In time no one was using the device so consequently the replacement brushes were no longer needed.

I tried time and time again to stop the shipment but could never get a living soul on the other end of the telephone. Writing proved a waste of time also.

I finally turned to my credit card company (I had used them for over twenty years) Every three months I receive $33.30 charge and have to dispute which takes a lot of time. Last fall I cancelled the credit card to STOP the charges and they accepted them anyway. They say they have to accept a charge even if it is on a cancelled card.

So I guess I will have to put up with this for the rest of my life. When I bought the thing they say you will receive free tooth brushes for the rest of your life. I want to stop the free ($33.30 quarterly) toothbrushes and cannot.

This is a fraudulent scheme if I ever saw one. How does one go about stopping this. Whoever dreamed this one up has made a fortune. They bill whether they send the replacement tooth brushes or not. I will do whatever I can to stop this.

I really feel I will have this hanging over me for the rest of my life. Not a good feeling.

If I can be of assistance in any way, please let me know.

Im sorry to hear about the trouble these people seem to be having in regards to their Cybersonics. I work in the corporate office and absolutely love both the product and the company. Cybersonic was created by a local dentist in my area for a need that he saw in his practice and in his home. Due to the popularity and quality of our product we have undergone tremendous growth, and unfortunately we have experienced some of the growing pains associated with this type of rapid change. At Cybersonic we are working extremely hard towards the goal of offering every single one of our customers not only an excellent product but outstanding customer service as well. The name of our corporation is Amden and we make Cybersonic. We sell directly to customers but we also sell to retailers, dental offices, and some distributors that sell through other web sites. Some of these other web sites offer a brush replacement program similar to our own. In reading through some of the complaints on your website I have found that a significant number of complaints are based upon false information. Sometimes the problems don't get rectified because the ordered from a different place than they are contacted for resolution. The last complaint for example was made by some one that believes that we are a company located in Freehold New Jersey. That is a completely different company unrelated to us. In order to try to prevent more miscommunication I have included our current information. Please dont give up! We are not trying to scam you or rip you off. Try calling our customer service center if you purchased from us or if your Cybersonic is malfunctioning. Unfortunately the first name, city and state of a customer is not enough information for us to even begin trying to locate customers in our data base. In order to look up a customer we need either the first and last name or the last name and zip code.If this does not work for you can contact me directly at [email protected]. If you did not purchase directly through us and you are having problems with brush replacements, delivery, etc. please contact the company that you purchased from. If you are unsure of who this may be you should be able to find this information on your credit card statement next to the charge. I apologize again for the trouble and inconvenience that you have experienced! Carson, CA 90745 www.sonictoothbrush.com Toll Free Customer Service #: (800) 770-7525 PS We are not trying to dodge our customers. If your site, which I do think is a great resource, is truly interested in in helping consumers in a fair way to get their problems resolved you will print my response in it's entirety. Whether or not you print my response should show if you are in fact a third party seeking to help consumers in resolving their problems. I cant say anything about this customers charges if I dont even have enough information to find out if it is even us that is charging her. I am more than happy to help this customer if given the proper information.

To Stop Charges

You need to call customer service and ask that the continuity on the toothbrush replacement heads be stopped. You need to ask for the number to corporate headquarters. Coporate is no longer in San Juan Capistrano, they relocated to the Irvine area. I no longer have a record of the number, but demand it from the employees at the published customer service number. I took calls at corporate all day from people just like you and the only way to stop the charges if you can't get a number for corporate is to involve your states Attorney General.
