American Entertainment Distributors - MAURICIO PAZ And DAVID FRIED Frauds They Have my Money but I have NOTHING Hollywood Florida
I am a 25 year old young lady who inherited money from my mother's passing. I got involved with American Entertainment Distributors and was greeted professionally and courteously by the sales team run by Mauricio Paz. It seemed like a valid operation with different departments handling different aspects of the business. They LIED about when the company was formed (2003 not 2000), their "Locations" department was INEXPERIENCED and very SHADY, their promise to deliver machines within 60 days has turned into 90+ days (WHICH BREAKS THEIR CONTRACT). Their fraudulent actions go on and on.
I am an incredibly motivated entrepreneur who had a dream to start a DVD vending enterprise with the help of this company. And I used my inheritance funds to purchase 2 machines from AED. I was completely BLINDSIGHTED by these frauds. I bought two machines for close to $100,000 and now I cannot even reach any member of the AED "team". I have locations that are awaiting their machines and now I have to tell them about this horrible situation. I am told that the FTC has frozen AED's accounts and filed violations against this disgusting company. I am in NYC and feel that my hands are tied to the troubles in Hollywood, FL. I do not know how many other consumers have been affected but I would like for us to JOIN, form a network and go after American Entertainment Distributors.
We are talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars exploited from people young and old. THIS IS FIRST CLASS FRAUD. While the company is part of The Better Business Bureau of companies, AMERICAN ENTERTAINMENT DISTRIBUTORS IS OPERATING A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I am determined to join and get back everything we put in PLUS damages. Please contact me as soon as possible. I am in tears and hope that we can rectify this situation and that the people responsible for this are put BEHIND BARS. PLEASE GO ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO FILE A COMPLAINT. How LONG it took for the feds to shut them down. They had information long before all of you got scammed. I personally informed the FTC that many of the same salespeople from Nationwide Cyber Systems had moved over to American Entertainment and Transnet Wireless. That was probably April of 2004. We, the victims of the last generation of these people's scams (Nationwide Cyber Systems, Debit Corporation of America, Teleking, etc) tried so hard to warn consumers and yet there was only so much we could do. We depend upon our government to watchdog these organizations and the truth is very ugly indeed. I've always believed that any lawsuits regarding these people should include the Better Business Bureau, but now I'm also starting to wonder if it should include the FTC as well.
