I reloaded my primary bluebird that I purchased for my grandson. Since he is a minor he is my sub account. He lives in another city I thought is was great way to get him funds. Friday nov.16 2013 I was alerted he had a low balance slightly below $10. I went to walmart and put $40.00. Transferred immediately to his card , checked on it and it never made it to his sub account. However it disappeared from the primary account. I have been calling the American Express bluebird customer service for more than a week. 8 times to be exact. I have been told they have a glitch in the system. For more than a week?
i have been put on hold so many times , it's a waste of time. Extremely disappointed in American Express. Would never do business with them again and I feel like they have stolen this money. I plan on contacting my state attorney generals office to see what action can be taken. How unfortunate for everyone who has also had their money stolen by this company. I contacted walmart where I reloaded my card, I have my receipt but unfortunately they cannot refund the money.
Something needs to be done, I can only imagine the amount of money they are holding onto. It seems to me this is completely illegal at the least.
