American Leisure Card ripoff Largo Florida
I was offered a credit card from them with a $4000 credit limit and no interest for 1 year. My husband and I thought that it was a good idea. We were looking into buying s house and that we could use the card to take care of a couple of bills to get them off our back.
I decided to take the card, it was a good idea at the time. I schuduled for the money to come out of my account on Aug. 24, 2002. They said that the card would be at my house within 2-4 weeks. Well it is the day before the fourth week and I decided to call them just to make sure that everything was on it's way.
Guess what?! I got an machine telling me that their services had been suspensed. Now I am here to ask anyone that is willing to help me. This has never happened to me before and I not sure if there is anyway to get my money back or not.

I have read through quite a bit of these reports and have discovered that many people had their money taken from them after the 14th of August. I think that they should be shut down just for that reason. They shouldn't be able to get away with this stuff. The company had been suspensed on the 14th of August and I didn't have money taken from my account until the 24th of August. Isn't there something we can do about this or do they get away with everything and take our money at the same time? Madder than hell, Rachel
