American Sales Network My short-lived and not so pleasent experience with ASN Santa Monica California
First, the salesperson who sold me this 'program' failed to mention that I would be billed $19.95 monthly for this service after the initial month, somethiing I would never have agreed to. The $6.95 shipping and handling covers delivery of a report cover and three pages of forms. Secondly, I was unable to download my Word resume. I have no idea why it wouldn't download. Thirdly, and most annoyingly, I spent 90 minutes listening to a recording tell me how important my call was. No one from customer service ever answered this call.
I finally called the main number. I was told no one at this number could help me, but they would have someone from customer service call. The person who did call was not from customer service, and, again, could not help me. Finally, a person from my credit card company was able to get through to them because I decided to dispute the initial charge. I was able to cancel the 'service', but ASN says the initial $33.95 is non-refundable. I got nothing but aggravation for my money. Beware because this business posts on Career Builder as if they were an employer.
