American Services, Inc.-National Retail Services, Inc. This company sends you a contract AFTER your services are rendered and refuses to pay in full. Roseville California
This company contacted us in June of 2008 and contracted us to do some HVAC repairs for local Dollar General stores. We still haven't received payment in full. They send partial payments along with 8.5% markdowns and adjustments as they see fit. After several months of numerous phone calls, faxes and e-mails we have not been able to resolve this issue with American Services.
We have been promised payment on several occasions, but have yet to receive any full payments. The employees of this company are extremely rude and do not handle matters in a professional manner. We pride ourselves in providing prompt services at a fair price and expect to be paid within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
American Services sent our company a contract and vendor profile on November 24, 2008. The contract was back dated for June 25, 2008. At a later date we requested another copy of the contract and the date was changed to June 27, 2008. We did not sign and return the contract via fax until November 25, 2008, therefore, we are not under their contract.
The first time we spoke with the company, they promised our company payment within 30 days from the day they received a copy of the invoice. When our company contacted American Services after the 30 day period had lapsed, they informed us that we wouldn't receive payment until Dollar General paid them, which was never mentioned in the first place.
Our company wants to resolve this issue and receive full payment for the services rendered.
