American Standard Online Deception for $199 Move In on Craigs List Internet, Internet
There is a posting on craigslist.org for $199 get you started, no money down, no credit check, just take over payments posted by American Standard Online. The representative, Michael was very polite and helpful and received my payment. When I had a question, I called him back and he was short, rude, and basically told me he didn't have time for my question and to call customer service. I was 15th in line and on hold for 45 mins.
I'm in the Mortgage business, and they have properties listed as bank owned (REO). They have you print out the pre-written letter to the homeower and mail it. However, if the house is and REO there is no possibility of contacting the owner as they've moved. Also, in able to get a refund you have to receive five denial letters from the homeowners.
