American Van Lines Relocation Division is a great company to do business with if you are looking for LIES and EXCUSES!!! AVLRD said that they do not use subcontractors(Lie#1). AVLRD subcontracted with Relo van lines, Mega movers and Unique movers. AVLRD claimed that our shipment would be late because of equipment failure(Excuse #1). AVLRD claimed our shipment would be late because the driver was taking the Easter weekend and the following week off(Excuse #2). AVLRD claimed that they could not get intouch with the owners of the subcontractors because it was Saturday and the owners were Jewish (Excuse #3). AVLRD and their subcontractors failed to deliver on TWO set delivery dates (Lie#2 and Lie#3). AVLRD claimed that the driver quit and abandon our shipment somewhere in Nevada but they did know the exact location.(Lie #4). AVLRD later clamed that our shipment was in Las Vegas but they didn't know where (Lie #5). This is a condenced version of our story and AVLRD's LIES and EXCUSES. AVLRD finally called to confirm that our shipment would be delivered in a couple of days but the truck had two other delivers to make before ours (Our shipment was the last of three deliveries on the truck) It was not very reassuring when the first items off the truck were not ours!!! ( I wonder if those people ever received their lost items!!!)
American van lines relocation division was 40 days past our delivery window by the time they finally delivered our shipment. AVLRD asked my fiancé to stop writing negative reviews on them (to stop telling the truth about them)!!! The president of AVLRD intentionally called early in the morning and left messages for her to call him (When she woke up)!!! Our driver claimed that he doctored his books so that he could drive further in any given day. We paid over $6,000 for their LIES and EXCUSES!!!
DO NOT DO USE AMERICAN VAN LINES RELOCATION DIVISION!!! They should change their name to American van LIES relocation division.
We are seeking others who have or are unfortunately going through this, for possible class action case.We will not be silenced!!!
