I just found out that ASC is the servicing company for Wells Fargo Mortgages. here is their phone numbers Customer service 877-937-9357 consumer complaints department fax: 866-278-1179
I was told by Wells Fargo Rep Wayne Baier that I needed to send a written request for whatever my complaint against ASC was to this department at Wells Fargo. They admit being in business together and he assured me of how sorry he was that this happened to me but he needed my loan number to check on it. I told him to pull it up from the address. He did and gave me the loan # for my records. Here is a copy of what was sent to the complaints dept and to ASC and to my Attorney. It tells the whole story.

To Wells Fargo Customer Service Complaints:(as per conversation with Wells Fargo employee Wayne Baier)
I placed a call on Wednesday 05/31/2006 to ASC (Your Mortgage Service) to make my May 2006 mortgage payment on Loan #120*******. At the time of the call I requested that they proceed with the withdrawal of funds on Friday 06/02/2006 as I did not have sufficient funds to cover the payment until then. I was told by the representative that she could not take my payment. I asked her if she was refusing to let me pay my payment for May 2006 and she said that she was and I would have to pay not only for May but I was to pay for June as well all in one lump sum. I told the representative that I could not afford to do it that way and she started asking me for personal information about my job and my husband's information and my husband told me not to give them anymore information. Then she told me that my loan would be going into review.
First of all the original mortgage was not with ASC and we had no control over the sale of the mortgage to ASC. We were notified that it had been sold and that was not a very comforting fact. Then we started paying ASC with no problems until now. I have a heart condition and cannot deal with the stress of the ASC representatives Gestapo tactics on the phone so I asked them to talk with my husband and they said they could not because he is not on the loan so I told them that I give them authorization for him to speak on my behalf. They were very curt, pushy and had a total lack of candor with me on the phone and I abhor speaking with them. My husband has since contacted an attorney concerning this matter and he advised us to contact Wells Fargo. He said that he had never heard of a mortgage company who would refuse to be paid even if the payment was late so as long as the late fee was being paid as well. This is not the way business is to be conducted. I could understand if I were three or four months behind in making a payment but one business day until the end of the month, this is completely ludicrous. I am also requesting for my husband to be able to speak on my behalf when the representatives from ASC wish to contact me.
I have been doing research on ASC and have found some very disturbing things from other ASC customers. You might want to check the validity of the claims these other customers are making as well. Your association with America's Servicing Company makes Wells Fargo look as if they may be conducting the same business practices. This is not what a company of your caliber needs in the public eye.
I am not saying you practice the same behavior but I am saying that it would not be good if Wells Fargo's business relationship with ASC turned into another Fairbanks Capital Corporation Investigation. (http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff116406.htm)
I have taken the first step in trying to resolve this matter. Now I need to pay my May 2006 Mortgage Payment that I was told I could not pay. I am going to be sending the payment registered mail as I work at the US Postal Service. I expect it to be posted to my account immediately. I will check the delivery date.
As for my husband being able to speak on my behalf, consider this notice and my authorization for him to do so with Loan # 120******* or any other matter that should arise with America's Servicing Company or Wells Fargo.

I encourage everyone out there that has to deal with idiots like ASC to contact their lawyers and Wells Fargo and let them know what you intend to do. There are laws against these types of practices and if enough people complain for even the least minute thing it will get the attention it deserves from the people that need it brought to their attention. I am sure Wells Fargo is by no means guiltless in their part but when you have been around as long as they have it is not good for their reputation to deal with asses like ASC. send those complaints and keep them coming it will finally bring an end to ASC.
