I called Amerigas 3 weeks ago when our tank was down to 30%. They haven't shown up to fill it yet. I went out and checked our level yesterday. We were at 0%.
I called them for an emergency delivery and was told that they would only deliver if I agree to a $ 150.00 charge for an after hours delivery. I told them absolutely not - why should I pay for your company not doing its job.
I ask if they charge this fee to our monthly bill, thinking that I will call the local office on Monday to dispute the charge. They will not charge it to your bill, you must pay the driver when he delivers.
Isnt' this extortion? How do we know that they don't let our tanks run out on purpose just so they can charge us this fee?

I was screwed over years ago by this company, on what is called: "At will Employment"!
Do your own Google search... That lead me to this website. After 2 years of working as much as 18 hours in a day, taking care of my customers I get the shaft on Dec. 17th.
I was the 'only' delivery driver at that location. NOW, I want everyone to know: Read these reports... Take notice, and stay away, "FAR AWAY" from Amerigas!!!
