All I can say is, WOW! Don't trust SAFECO or ameriquest, ameriquest closed down and sold to CITI, so beware! What did you do with all them checks? Gee's You should write a letter and file a complaint with HUD and the California Department of Corporations. Make sure you keep proof of your old insurance and keep a log with names time and dates, I find it helps you to remember what's going on. I have been fight Ameriquest, SAFECO and HSBC since 2004 for answers about the insurance and other things. I started making Youtube videos about all this, they aren't very good but I feel that if it helps get the word out to people, that it will be worth it. We need to stand up for our RIGHTS, The Government has abandoned us... Good Luck To Everyone! :)

So now Ameriquest actually went through with the foreclosure on my property on Sept 4th 2007. I called the Law office that was handling the court house steps sale and waited for hours, on the previous Thursday I went to file chapter 13 in order to stop the foreclosure sale and was advised by the law office not to file the chapter 13 since there was so many issues. Now I have retained an attorney and my son is trying to buy back the property in order for us to remain in the house, I was sent a certified letter from a real estate company that they have assigned to sale and market my house, offering me a 550.00$ move out offer if I voluntarily hand the house over by Oct 1. The day of the foreclosure sale we being the contractors in the insurance claim that has still not been paid in full, filed a lien against the property in order to get what is comming to us one way or another. AMC refuses to give us a payoff figure so that my son can repurchase the property in his name. I have 50,000.00 in equity on this property and I'll be damed if they get it without a fight and paying what they owe in Material Liens. Thought I would share this battle with all you other homeowners. Oh yeah my neighbors also have been foreclosed on but did not fight them. People don't letthis happen to you!

safeco is in on the scam... helping ameriquest in causing defaults then forclose on you. Keep good records, make and keep copies of everything. Go to your court house and get a copy of everything! GL :o)
