I signed in May of 2003 with Ameriquest Mortgage. Our loan was supposed to be a fixed loan and I have an adjustable loan. My loan payment has went from $890.00 to $1278.00. My interest has went from 6.99% to 10.75%. It is adjusted every 6 months and my escrow has had to be adjusted 3-4 times. I have taken this problem to Mr. Jose --- with Ameriquest explaining that all I wanted was my loan documents to go back to the original 6.99% at there cost because that what I was told by there representative. They have refused to help me. They tell me that they can't even refinance my property at this point.
In May of 2005 my husband was diagnosed with a Neuromuscular Disease and has become unable to work. I am struggling with working 55-60 hours a week to try make ends meet. They don't understand and are threatening to foreclose. Is there anything that we can do to stop these thieves.
They promise the American Dream but give the American Nightmare.

Hi Ken, I've read all your statements, you seen very knowledgeable about Ameriquest. I live in St. Louis Mo. and there does not seem to have alot of comments from St. Louis Mo. area. I go to trial soon. I'm trying to find x-employees that worked in the St. Charles office to come forward. Do you have any suggestions for me.I even left a statement for Mark. The way I understand alot of people here went thru the Calif. office for refi.Did any one go thru the St. Charles ofice in 2003? Any suggestions anyone. My case is good, but I have to have all the knowledge I can get, I can't lose my home to them. Ken I would like to really talk to you

I agree with david!!!! David and i have been talking on the phone and via e - mail i have seek council and i and everyone else has a strong case i would not believe a word that comes out of their mouth. They are very crafty and will tell you things and make you believe them trust me i almost made the mistake then i got a lawyer and he told me he will handle everything from here on out! I am planning a protest in front of the grand rapids office i have contacted the F B I again and i was told that the grand rapids office was shut down and the F B I was their taking all the documents they have i was told by and inside source @ ameriquest not the F B I they couldnt tell me anything because they are still working on the case! But i need to call them back today and give them a update on how everything is going they want me to call them once a week! Like i and david said do not believe anything they say get an attorney fast and let him handle it . Good luck and GOD BLESS!!!

They don't care if you and your family falls off the face of the earth or not. They will do everything in their power to F/C on your home. It seems to be their main goal, if not secondary to squeezing you for as much money - interest, fees, costs - as they can in the meantime. They are NOT your friend. You need to read all the posts here that you can. Then do a search for all the lawsuits aginst Ameriquest. Then take that info to an attorney. You are SERIOUSLY talking to people who have been trained to lie and cheat (not an opinion - this is from testimony of ex-employees) consumers any way they can. Get to an attorney ASAP. Don't trust anything that comes out of a Ameriquest agent's mouth.
