You can also try to file a complaint with HUD. You can search the internet for their website. My suggestion to people over 62 years of age with a lot of equity in their property is.... look into a reverse mortgage option instead of a refinance. The reverse mortgage option will pay you each month and eliminate mortgage payments. this website will give you valuable information on this type of loan CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

Call your State's Atorney General (don't write, unless you have have a spare six months to wait for a reply). Find out what forms if any you need to file. Then stay with us on this forum and get as much info as possible. You will probably end up needing an attorney. One that has experience in going up against AMC would be best, and this is the place to find one. Lot's of good info here and an occassional AMC agent telling consumers that this is all their fault, as everyone knows there is a thief, con artist, and crook waiting around every corner, and that the first time we actually put our faith in someone we shouldn't, it all the victims fault - according to the crooks... Good entertainment reading their posts. Dave
