What joke Ancestry.com is... I signed up for their 30 day trial period. They billed me on 3/2/09 $19.95 then agan on 3/30/09 for another $19.95. I called them immediately and was told that they would correct their billing and credit my card. That was then and this is NOW. I finally had to contact their offices in Provo Utah and spoke with some NASTY man named Michael who informed me that they NEVER got my previous phone calls. The 1800 number that they use on their website is down all the time. I actually contacted the Better Business Bureau in Utah and they provided me with their direct phone number. Once I told them that I was going to seek legal action and notify the BBB they said they'd refund me two months of service since JULY!! I was not happy. I've since contacted my credit card company to file a complaint. Ancestry.com is a RIP OFF they'll continue to charge your credit card despite the fact that you want to cancel! DON'T be fooled by them, go elsewhere but here to find your ancestry!!
