You sound like someone who wants something for free. If you don't beleive the charge is justified, then why didn't you do it yourself????? And the answer is you don't know how? Do you expect someone to come to your house for free, and do the work for free. What do you consider a justified charge. The service fee you were charged is real cheap, and the cost of the thermostat is cheap also. People do not work for free, DO YOU? Do you complain when you have your car fixed? Go to the Dr. Office, or the Dentist Office. Probably not. If the problem is fixed, fine get on with your life, as far as the right to cancell is concerned, if you decide to within the 3 day period you said it has, then they should come back out, remove the thermostat and give you your money back.
