AP9*PASSPORTTOFUN+ 800-566-8489 CT Billed my credit card - though I did not knowingly sign up for their service Norwalk Connecticut
PassporttoFun billed my credit card for a $14.95 per month membership fee.
I did not knowingly request their membership. When I called their 800 number (listed on the credit card, thankfully), I received a notice that customer service representatives were available Monday - Friday 7 AM - 12 AM, and for more limited hours on the weekend.
Tomorrow (5/20/2008) I will try again to contact a customer service representative. There really should be an automated service to cancel membership in their group. Perhaps the company is collecting information.
PassporttoFun needs to cease advertising with VistaPrint.com -- because VistaPrint has a lengthy checkout procedure in which they require that a customer opt-in or opt-out of MANY offers. I must have missed the offer by PassporttoFun, so the membership was activated by default. THE DEFAULT SHOULD BE NO, RATHER THAN YES.
I am giving PassporttoFun the benefit of the doubt, at least until I speak with one of their customer service representatives. VistaPrint seems to be the real culprit. I liked VistaPrint's service, as far as the business cards go, but now I will have to think twice before utilizing their service again. This situation is unfortunate for all concerned.
