Got a message on my phone that BELL was rewarding me for my long service and I could choose this free eyecream and only pay the shipping of 3.84. I did receive one tiny bottle of the said eyecream and am waiting on the 2nd bottle. I checked my banking today and my credit card was charged on 2 occasions for $158.00CAN. My bank said the charges were for a subscription for this eyecream???????? I called Aperform to find out what the charge was for and they said I signed up to get this eyecream on an ongoing basis. I said I most certainly did not and I want it cancelled right away an get a refund. She said she would help me out.........If I pay another 60 dollars she would send more product and then cancel???? I said NO NO PLEASE CANCEL RIGHT NOW THIS MINUTE!!!!! It took me an hour to get her to cancel and give me a cancellation number but I don't get the 158.00 back. I said there are 2 charges of 158.00 SHE THEN SAYS OH THATS OUR SISTER COMPANY, YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THEM!!!!!
I called them CLARIVEYESERUM and had to go through the same exact thing....at least an hour to cancel and then I lost my money there too!
I looked back at the emails I received when I ordered the sample and nowhere does it say I have to sign up for a subscription!
This is such an underhanded business practice and it is downright evil. I now have $300.00 on my credit card that I have to pay! I will be watching for any further charges. I asked my bank to put a stop payment on them and cancel from them going forward but they tell me they can't do that and I would have to deal with the companies!
THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED! THEY ARE PRAYING ON PEOPLE AND THEY KNOW BY THE TIME YOU (IF YOU DO) CONVINCE THEM TO CANCEL. THEY HAVE MADE A $300.00 PROFIT. I WISH I COULD MAKE MONEY THAT EASILY BUT I HAVE A CONSCIENCE AND DON'T RIP GOOD PEOPLE OFF!
I am so angry at myself too as I usually don't fall for scams but this one seemed really legit coming from BELL!
