Applewood Village Apts - Arruth Associates ripoff rude horrible property, maintenance issues, uncaring, insensitive mgmt, high mgmt turnover Spring Texas
I have lived at Applewood Village Apts for 2 yrs now, going through so many mgrs I can't count on one hand. This newest mgr, whom I did not know even existed until I went to pay my rent. I gave her my check on the 2nd of July and she asked me if is was street rate, I told her no, and she handed the check back to me and told me she couldnt take it. Of course that really made me mad because I have never had a problem with magmt before her, so of course I said a choice word at her and walked off. I then put the check in the night drop box with a letter, and she returned it and told me she would not take it until it was street rate, and if I ddint pay by the morning before they came into the office on the 4th i would also owe late fees, I am a single mom, living paycheck to paycheck and have had a number of problems since I have been here regarding the apt. When things needed to be fixed it took them an amt of time that is unnacceptable. I am very dissastified with this apt and will be moving as soon as possible.

Please tell what street rate is. I think you are only bound by law to pay what your lease says and lates fees if they are due.
